While I am not a gardener, I have been on the succulent bandwagon for a while. Maybe it’s their low maintenance yet highly chic look that makes me think it’s the perfect touch of garden glow in any interior space. I don’t seem to be the only one who thinks succulents and terrariums have real value, as the boutiques Paiko in Kaka’ako, Hawaii and Jade & Clover in Dallas, Texas (my hometown!) have adopted the concept of Succulent Bars, a luxury experience where you can create your own trendy succulent plant, allowing you to the choose the type of terrarium, plant species, and even color of dirt. I can’t wait to visit Jade & Clover and create my own chic summer masterpiece.
Anthropologie recently launched Albeit, their exclusive makeup line. Styled after an Art Deco vibe, the gold plated products are simple yet make a huge difference when added to your makeup arsenal. Find your favorite Albeit product here.
Although I don’t consider myself a big makeup girl, one of my favorite things to explore on the internet is the influx of makeup positive beauty trends, women really showing off their love for glitter and shine. While I might be too afraid to try it, I find myself living vicariously through the women making these tutorials, wanting to get the courage to rock these looks myself! In honor of that, check out one of my favorite beauty trends just in time for New Years: sparkle lips.
If you love the look as much as I do, I encourage you to go out and try it yourself! A good beginner brand for glitter is Beauty Boulevard, a makeup brand with tons of long lasting glitter selections to keep you shining brighter until the clock strikes 12.

I absolutely love the influx of statement coats this winter, especially the fuzzy teddy bear coats that I’ve been seeing everywhere, in all types of styles. Being able to spice up any ensemble with soft fuzzy statement piece? I’m all for it. And while my excuse for needing coats in cold St. Louis can only go so far, I still love looking at these coats whenever I get the chance.

Interesting right? Well, since street wear has been so popular as of late, I guess this was to be expected.
What is it? Vision Street Wear is a skating brand started by Madrid born Kilian Martin. The brand prides itself on bold colors and powerful graphics that help skateboarders stand out in competition. Forever 21 is a clothing company specializing in inexpensive trendy wear for young shoppers. The collaboration is described as “modern style influenced by skate culture”, which makes sense given the two brands.
Where can I get it? Exclusively at Forever 21, online or in stores.
How much is it? coinciding with Forever 21’s price range, the collaboration isn’t pricey, with the highest priced item being the Vision Street Wear windbreaker, being 24.90$.
Is it worth it? I mean, like I said earlier, street wear is definitely in. Personally, this collab is a little too loud for me in some respects, but it captured the bold athletic look Martin prided himself on, and accompanied with Forever 21’s affordable prices, its definitely worth checking out and experimenting with.
Check out some of the looks below:
The reflective sunglass trend added a whole new dimension of cool to people’s look. However, for the people who want that reflective look in a much more memorable package than the classics Rayban has been offering, KREWE is your man.
What is it? Started in New Orleans by Stirling Barrett, KREWE was created to spread the cultural and stylistic individuality NOLA inspires.
Where can I get them? With only one flagship in the French Quarter (of course), KREWE can only be shopped online.
How much? Most KREWE glasses are on the pricier side. However, being 100% handmade with quality material and coming with a lifetime warranty, the price makes total sense. No rip off here.
